La Treccias own
This cheese is a beautiful little thing, which we have developed here at La Treccia in close co-operation with Hija de Sanchez’ Taquería at Torvehallerne in Copenhagen. The idea was born thanks to the skilled and lovely owner of the Taquería, Rosio Sanchez. Rosio was looking for a cheese that resembled the mexican fresh cheese, queso fresco.
It was important to Rosio, that the cheese was salty, light and contained the perfect amount of fat. From those criteria we created crumblino.
Crumblino immediately became a favorite on the staff lunch table at La Treccia - and it still is. Think of a luxurious cottage cheese, with smaller crumbs and more taste - that’s crumblino.
