Mascarpone is an essential ingredient to the making of authentic Italian tiramisù. The creamy filling in a tiramisù is called “la crema” and is made from whipped egg whites, egg yolks and sugar gently folded together with mascarpone - yummy!

Mascarpone is not only fantastic in desserts - try using a generous scoop in a steaming hot tomato soup - tomato soup will never be the same again without it! Our mascarpone consist of 53 per cent butter fat in the dry matter and is therefore very suitable for heating.​
